The Doxologist blog from Mars Hill Church has a post on the question of whether larger churches are better served with groups of separate bands, instead of one larger worship team, as well as the issue of female leadership.

I’d disagree with their assessment of the role of female leadership in this context, but would agree that scripture does not specifically address the “worship leader” or “band leader” role. It just depends on what that role entails in our culture.
